Multinational WWII Gallery: Germany

These photos were taken by German Wehrmacht and Waffen SS soldiers between 1943-1945. Photos show the German Wehrmacht in Paris on leave, tank movements in The Netherlands and in Russia (Tiger I Panzer V), Wehrmacht soldiers using the STG-44 or “Sturmgewehr” machine gun (after minor modifications by the Russians to become the AK-47) in the Ardennes Forest, Waffen SS poster, Waffen SS soldiers in the Ukraine alongside a road and in a foxhole, Waffen SS assembly, Serbian and Syrian SS, and the devastating results of Allied bombing campaign in parts of Germany.
